Maine's Own Treats

Popping into several souvenir shops to compare pricing. While this one had higher prices than others on "souvenir" items, it had the best price, literally half off, a gift box. I will say, this place focuses more so on food and pantry items. So if your shopping for clothing, decor, jewelry, postcards, magnets... things of that sort, this isn't the place for you.

Since I was heading to my homestate for the holidays, I wanted to share the Maine experience with my family and friends. Had made a quick stop here with my daughter in October and knew this was where I would shop for the holidays. A gift of Maine treat boxes, with anything Maine made..jams, blueberry syrups, chowder, souvenirs, novelties..can be bought here. Buy the ones they have created, or build your own...perfect for gifting, and I can almost guarantee you will find something for yourself here.. love,love,love this place..a secret Maine treasure!!!

This place is on our MUST STOP list every time we are in Maine! The best jams, jellies, syrups and sauces we have found at great prices. The owner is so very kind! Also got my I ❤️ Maine Moose from there!!! Also get gifts for family from there so they can have a taste of Maine too!

Love this store! They have everything you could want in souvenirs. I've been here twice on vacations and left both times with a mountain of stuff to take home to family and coworkers. Shirley is awesome and I've had nice conversations with her. I would suggest that they fix up the sign outside by the road. It's very overgrown and in need of replacing. I'm sure people have driven past not realizing the place is open.

🫐The review is specifically on the Blueberry Maple Surup😍 We stumbled across the blueberry maple syrup while we were in Bar Harbor, so I picked up a bottle to bring back to Illinois with me. It is wonderful! 🫐Maine’s Own Treats Blueberry Maple Syrup tastes more blueberry than maple. I have poured it over vanilla icecream as well as wafffles - so wonderful! You will definitely want to buy more than 1 bottle! Wishing I had know about this gem of a store- someday I will come find you! 🥰
