Heard lots of good things about this pub. I find the location to be fair. If you want to just get out and relax in a good atmosphere, it is nice. If you want to enjoy a good meal, eat before you go. The service and the servers are great, but they call a ham, cheese, pickle and mustard sandwich A Cuban…. Nope. The Band Skyclub was okay. Summing it up the Pub is a hard 3.5 -average it out to a soft 4. Will I return? (if I have nothing better to do.)
Great atmosphere and location in downtown area. Easy walking distance to local hotels. I tried the Jameson Orange Crush and Cuban sandwich and both were fantastic.
If you read those best-bars-in-Florida lists, you have probably seen this place on one (or more) of them. Not sure it is equal to the all-time greats (Capt Tony's in Key West, Flora-Bama in the panhandle, Mai-Kai in Overland Park, The Clevelander on South Beach, etc), but it is an awesome Space Coast joint. Three bars (cozy inside, rooftop, and backyard tiki), above-average bar food, awesome staff, and that everybody-knows-your-name vibe! A must-stop in downtown Melbourne and worth the drive if you are anywhere nearby!
Love the Atmosphere, the outdoor tikibar ans in the indoor bar is great too! Try the Sadwhich
Mainstreet Pub in Melbourne has long enjoyed a loyal local following, but a recent weekend lunch visit offered fresh confirmation of why this unassuming establishment continues to endure. What began as a casual family outing—spurred by a brother-in-law’s long-standing curiosity—quickly turned into a memorable meal anchored by confident service and unexpectedly standout cooking. The menu’s Western New York sensibilities will feel instantly familiar to anyone with roots in Buffalo or Rochester, which made it an especially welcome sight for my wife’s family, all originally from that region. The restaurant’s longtime server, who appears to have been part of the team since its early days, proved to be one of its strongest assets. Her command of the menu, ability to steer guests toward the right
