Maitland Public Library

Staff is amazingly helpful. The library is super clean and we'll organized and there's plenty of space to read or work. Wifi works fine. Small but nice outdoor seating. There's parking across the street if you need it.

Went here for the first time for toddler storytime and was pleasantly surprised! It had a great mix of book reading, fun interactive songs, and even a short but adorable puppet show at the end. They also had a craft station set up with all the supplies ready for the kids to get creative. The library itself is on the smaller side and a bit worn down, and the children’s book area felt a little cramped. But there’s a cozy corner with toys and puzzles that kept my twins entertained. Overall, a fun way to spend a couple of hours with your toddler.

We love how simple and warm Maitland library feels. There are always kind librarians who are always ready to help, not just machines for checkout. It’s a calm, welcoming place for kids to read and create, and libraries like this are becoming rare. I truly hope it stays just the way it is.

I cannot express how much I love this library. It is on the smaller side, and the way they have the sections is strange (ex: mystery, thriller, romance, horror are all in fiction and not broken up into their categories but instead are all mixed in), but I love the vibe of this place. Firstly, it is always quiet. Everyone there keeps to themselves and is respectful. The librarians are helpful. The library offers a small bookstore and a reading area which is to die for. It is so relaxing and quaint. Plus, they host book clubs, yoga, a monthly spice club, and other clubs at the library if you want to be more social.
