About Malinche Audiobar

A LISTENING BAR WITH TEETH. Malinche isn’t trying to be another “cool mezcal bar.” It’s its own frequency. Inspired by Japanese listening bars, this is a tight, immersive cantina where the room is tuned—sound, light, texture, pour, and plate.

Y'all, the Tempura de Hoja Santa was by far one of the best dishes I have ever ate in my whole dang life. We did make our way through the whole menu while we visited, and everything was delicious. We did our big one here. But that Hoja Santa was something magical, like from another realm. Enjoyed a mezcal flight and luxurious cocktails. Loved the Mexican x Japanese inspo/vibes. The vinyl soundtrack, the dim lights, the cozy feel, all made for a truly badass experience at Malinche Audio Bar. The whole menu is gluten-free 💯 this is a must visit for a solo adventure or a cozy date.

Loved the dark, cave-like vibe within cozy environs. They have Sotol as well as other tequila-adjacent spirits. The “Tomatillo” cocktail is definitely top of my list of unique drinks. Their Maitake al Copal dish will not soon be forgotten. The tuna was delicious but necessarily something that I will crave forever. Excited to come back for a full dinner and try all the items on their tight menu.

Mexican X Japanese listening bar with a unique aesthetic, quality sound, and magical vibe. Their pepita cocktail is the best cocktail I've had in a long time. I could drink it all night, but also wanted to try some other offerings. The maiz cocktail was mezcal forward and came with cute cacao bean on a wooden spoon. The food is spectacular too. Really loved the rabbit tamale with fig mole. Ever since trying amazing mole for the first time in Mexico, I've been chasing a similar experience in America and finally found it here. The chilmole & miso negro roasted octopus dish was tasty and creatively paired with mezcal seaweed and pickled radish. The tight knit space and dim lighting were reminiscent of the delightful cocktail bars of Mexico City, but with ample seating, a chiller vibe and cult

Malinche AudioBar is one of Denver’s most exciting new openings — a mix of Japanese technique and Latin flavor from the minds behind La Diabla and El Borrego Negro. The food menu is small but masterful, and every dish feels intentional and inventive. Highlights included the Sabana de Atún (tuna longaniza with miso and yuzu) and the Pulpo with black miso and chilmole — both beautifully executed. The cocktails are equally creative, with unique ingredients like tomatillo, xtabentún, and corn liquor. The space is intimate and sleek, with a focus on sound and atmosphere. I visited during opening week, so I imagine the audio experience will keep evolving, but even now, it’s a memorable and intriguing spot. I can’t wait to return.

This place is pretty cool...The food was excellent!! different and flavorful just what we were looking for...The menu is nice and small so we tried everything on the menu...Heads-up everything is appetizer size nice and shareable so I recommend to order with the idea to share...The only little complaint is that maybe tonight the octopus was a little bit salty but still really good...The drinks are very good and they got a kick !! My favorite was the "tomatillo"...Definitely coming back soon...The only thing I didn't like is the taco trailer right out front...Even though I love tacos that thing is confusing and out of place.
