Mama Pho Vietnamese Restaurant

Good food and nice holiday decor. I shared some appetizers: calamari, chicken steamed buns and shrimp spring roll. Then got a pork banh mi which was really nice. Friends got brisket pho and really enjoyed it. The baguette could’ve been a little more soft but not enough for me to really care.

I have been a longtime customer of Mama Pho. Since they opened. Their food has been exceptional. Their pho and bowls of soup are welcome on a cold day. Everything made in house is delicious. Can’t go wrong with their desserts and drinks. There’s definitely something for everyone.

Takeout Review: I'm a fan of this Vietnamese restaurant in Winsted. I've ordered food delivery from them many times and even picked up from there once. The food is always consistently good. I've had their pork banh mi, pho beef burrito "pho-ritto", and rice vermicelli noodle dish. All the food were affordable, fresh, authentic, and tasty. My family also agrees. The restaurant is also nice. The service was good. They are next door to Papa Boba which is owned by the same people. There was only street parking available when I went. Overall, definitely one of my favorite Vietnamese spots around this area so far.

First time trying pho and boba and they were really good. The waitress is very nice, I told her about my allergies and she made sure my food is safe as possible for me to consume. I also had some shrimp rolls and they were fantastic with their peanut sauce. I definitely want to come back next time with my siblings.

I have dined there regularly since they opened in 2018, coming every 1 to 2 weeks. The atmosphere is relaxing and unique. I have tried almost everything on the menu and found each dish to be delicious and thoughtfully prepared. The owners, Tony and Lynne, always make you feel welcome. Their soups emphasize fresh herbs and light broths. The other dishes provide a nice balance of textures and flavors. The vietnamese cuisine at Mama Pho's has no excessively salty or greasy dishes like you find in chinese restaurants. The restaurant is always well maintained and exceptionally clean. I find the reviews stating otherwise to be without merit and not worthy of considerat
