Best fried chicken around and the smash burgers are super good too. Found Mama’s not that long ago but have already been several times. Yes you’ll have to wait for your food but it comes out hot & fresh. Service is super friendly, asked their opinion about the coleslaw and was offered a sample (told if it got us to come back it was worth it). Prices are good and they have daily specials.

Grilled chicken wrap, South Sando sandwich were very good. The mac and cheese definitely taste homemade. Fries and hush puppies delicious. I rather come here than some of the chain spots. Price is fair and get alot of food. A must visit. Will definitely be back.

I can’t think of the last time I bit into a piece of chicken and was blown away by the taste, but the recipe here is a cut above. The flavor is delicious, the crunch is just right, and if you order wings, they serve WHOLE WINGS! One of my favorites is the banana pudding. Best I’ve tasted since my own mama made it!

genuinely THE best place to get fried chicken in Fredericksburg, forget about KFC or Popeyes (still love them though). the staff is incredibly kind and the service was pretty quick! the food is absolutely amazing, every single time. ive gone in over 10 times now and ive never had a bad item there. my favorites are the classic fried chicken, po'boy, and catfish! surprisingly, the burgers are delicious too! don't skip out on mamas, especially the banana pudding and Mac n cheese! 🦇

Hands down the juiciest chicken sandwich I have ever had. Fries were crispy and delicious too. I had the Classic without cheese. It took 10 minutes to get which was well worth it. Came out juicy and hot! Fries were plentiful. I didn’t even eat half.
