Mama's Italian Family Restaurant

Lexanne is the server you want; handled multiple two tops with ease, and is genuinely nice. Food; so-so, Creole flatbread was spicy, but lacked flavor. My opinion was that the balance of ingredients was off; heavy on peppers and sauce, light on cheese and Andouille. Salads were only your average garden variety, up two notches up from OG., yet expensive for as they were. Don’t count this place totally out; I did see a couple great looking burgers come out from the kitchen. We were traveling through and our meals together cost $32, so can’t complain too much by today’s pricing for a sit down. Speaking of: get a chair, the booths were broken down. This is as fair as I can be.

OMGoodness! This was the best food I've had in a long time. First, our service was great, friendly, helpful and fun. We ordered the Chicken Marsala with garlic mashed potatoes and it was sooo good, tender with lots of flavor. The potato bacon soup was a first for us but not the last. Yummy! The biscuit was hot and soft. For dessert we ordered the chocolate cake and it was decadent. We went out for Valentine's Day. Everything here was excellent.

Exceptional experience! Worth driving over from Tallahassee to enjoy this amazingly well prepared food! Food is made to order so don’t go there in a hurry!

A great local restaurant serving up very eclectic cuisine. The ahhi tuna appetizer is a meal in itself. They even make fresh wantons. Pretty unusual considering that they are an Italian restaurant. The service is equally great. We ate dinner there while passing through to the Tampa Bay area. Was so impressed that we scheduled our return trip so we could eat lunch there.

We chose this restaurant as a halfway meeting point for a birthday celebration and it was well worth the drive! We drove 2 hours and would make this trip again! The service was above and beyond. The hostess was so friendly and our waitress treated us so well! The food was amazing, the portions were a great size, everyone had leftovers, and the prices were outstanding! I highly recommend you stop here and try the food!
