About Manhattan Bagel

The service and atmosphere was nothing fantastic. The service was dry, no one smiled and didn't feel welcome. I understand their tired from a long day, but still, I would prefer some a bit of friendly service. The bagel I had was not that fantastic, it didnt taste like anything. A Sam's club bagel has a better impact. Coming from NYC, this isn't a Manhattam bagel. The farmhouse bagel I got wasn't so special, kind of plan and low quality meat was used, all frozen or standard salty packed deli meats. A little disappointed with the rave reviews, but not my standards I guess.
Start on the good... The people there seem super nice... Can't say enough. Now... The negative The wait for the food was LONG! The atmosphere... Not cozy like a coffee shop but just felt a bit anxious. The food.. got the all American which is an everything begal with bacon cheese and egg. This was fair tasting to me... However, I think most people would not have enjoyed the sharp salt flavor coming from the begal. Seemed to much for me. Again got the mocha, did not like the mocha. Thought after a while it would be ok, thought maybe it was not stirred properly, but no.. Never got to full flavor and had a strange bitter tone. Ended up not being able to get through it. So, again folks, the South.. SLOW service with a friendly welcoming persona. Not great mocha. Not sure this area can make a
cute little bagel spot! I got the tuna bagel and my husband got the breakfast smokehouse brisket bagel. My bagel was a little hard but the tuna was very good. My husbands bagel was super soft and just delicious entirely, I would definitely recommend it. For both bagels and one orange juice we paid $25.
Though the online menu and signage in the restaurant stated gluten free options are available upon request the employees were not aware of the option and I was directed to fresh fruit. I ordered an almond milk latte that the staff prepared with whole milk. I unknowingly drank it to be doubled over in pain. Staff at this establishment are not trained properly as well the business falsely advertised having gluten sensitive options. My partner who has no food allergies enjoyed his meal
I went here before going to Busch Gardens. The restaurant is nice and clean and service was quick. I had the nova lox bagel and an iced chai latte. The latte was good. The nova lox was okay. There wasn’t as much as I have had at other restaurants and it was really salty.
