We really enjoyed our first experience at MANI. The wait was super long but they do not take advance reservations unless you have a party of 6+ FYI. We got the picked tomatoes (must get), brussel sprouts (exceptional), frutti di mare (was good but stick with the bolognese I think it may be better), arugula & prosciutto (so delicious, definitely recommend), espresso and tiramisu (great finisher for an Italian meal. We will definitely be back in the summer and enjoy some more of their menu and some of the drinks. We had the NA Peroni as we’re doing a dry January and really splurged tonight!
Consistent, amazing, delicious and impeccable service, food and drinks every time!!!! This is our go to for celebrations and for mid-week dining. Truly such a treasure A2 has. Italian cuisine that is unmatched! The drinks are so great too!
Pricey but pretty good overall. Starters were good: focaccia, chop salad with salami, and pickled tomatoes (bruschetta). Red onion pistachio pizza was a must try. Peach pizza was decent but not as flavorful. Desserts varied - affogato and budino were very good. Tiramisu was a bit dry. Service was good overall. Decent draft beer selection.
Mani Osteria & Bar delivers a solid overall dining experience with some clear highlights and a few misses. The seafood pasta stands out as a strong dish — the pasta itself is well cooked, and the seafood is flavorful and fresh. The calamari is another win, arriving very tender on the inside with a crispy, well-seasoned exterior. The pizza is well cooked overall, with good structure and flavor, but the crust was slightly burned, which distracted a bit from an otherwise good pie. Unfortunately, the short ribs were the weakest part of the meal, coming out tougher than expected and lacking the tenderness you’d hope for at this price point. Overall, Mani Osteria shows real skill in its pasta and seafood, but a bit more consistency would take the experience to the next level.
Dined at the Mani with a short walk over from the State Theater. Bubbly atmosphere, warm sitting area but the best seat this night was at the kitchen high top. Enjoyed watching the wood fire pizzas going and out, the friendly interactions between the head chef and his staff. Everything came out looking so good. We had the polenta fries as an appetizer followed by the seafood bowl and chicken parm. Just wonderful!
