Manning’s Farmhouse Ice Cream Shoppe Wyoming Avenue in Kingston, PA, is a no frills establishment. The utilitarian atmosphere, however, is more than compensated by delicious homemade ice cream and very friendly service. When a lot of the local ice cream stands shut down after Labor Day, Manning’s is there to feed the denial that summer in NOT almost over. In fact, the shop is open all year to satisfy your ice cream fix. We arrived at approximately 7:30 p.m. on a Friday evening and were greeted by two young ladies behind the counter who were very personable. It took a few minutes to go over the menu, which featured over 30 different flavors of ice cream and five frozen yogurts. We settled on a large bowl of apple crisp and a medium chocolate peanut butter on a waffle cone, before settling

Without a doubt, the absolute best ice cream around NEPA. I don't know why I haven't given Manning's a shout-out sooner. We just tried the Chocolate Raspberry Truffle ice-cream and it's out of this world. And while you're trying it, check out the ingredients - top notch. KUDOS MANNING's, well done for sure. CHEWY YAHOOEY

Sometimes I visit Scranton area or take a detour to eat ice cream at one of their locations. I think they are best in the US.

Mannings has the best ice cream and milk! This location is easy to get to, clean inside, and has a wide variety of options. Easily my favorite ice cream shop!

This place is amazing! It's a local Dairy, they have milk in the milk case as well as over 30 different flavors of ice cream, all kinds of toppings wet and dry and when I say you get your money's worth with the scoops you really do! I got chocolate almond cherry a medium in a cup - it's like three scoops of ice cream smashed into one container! You have to stop there it's on Wyoming Avenue in Kingston next to Lino's Pizzeria on the corner of Wyoming Ave and Union Street you will not be disappointed
