Marble Slab Creamery and Great American Cookies Leesville

Amazing ice cream. The younge man working tonight was great. Thank you for helping us. The younge lady there was so rude. This was my first time in. If it was based on her service iv never spend another dime there. Bad attitude horrible customer service and made sure her face showed her pure hatred of being there. Younge man remained calm taking all 7 of us and was very kind and respectful. I volunteer him for a raise! Thank you for the delicious ice-cream.

I visited the Marble Slab Creamery in Leesville, LA on January 31, 2026 around 12PM. While I was the only Asian customer in the store, an employee loudly said “love you long time” to her coworker — a phrase that is a well-known racist, sexualized remark historically used toward Asian women. This made me feel uncomfortable, disrespected, and completely unwelcome. Regardless of who the comment was directed to, racialized language like this has no place in a business that serves the public. I have reported this incident to corporate and civil rights agencies. I hope management addresses this seriously and provides proper training for their staff.

Me and my wife came into Marble Slab around 5:45pm on the 3rd of November 2025. We were greeted with the woman employee by her saying, “Sorry we’re closed” Obvious joke for the first time. She preceded to say that joke two more times, this time my patience my wearing thin. I just wanted ice cream for me and my wife. The gentleman behind the counter could tell that me and my wife were a little perturbed and said “Alright, I’m going to help y’all out, what can I get for you?” He was very helpful and kind, he could read the room unlike his coworker who felt that she was above helping. Not only did she laugh it off and sneer at her coworker for helping us. She proceeded to “joke” that the flavors we wanted were out, no real inclination of joking or apologizing. Update Dec 2022: Went for cookies & ice cream. A few ppl inside with 2 workers. You can tell the workers were not happy. Rude, not professional. Girl with dark hair & tattoos literally told us "yeah there are more cookies under but I'm too lazy to put them out." There were very few selections for cookies available but they had more, just lazy. 2020: Small, simple location like any other location. Approx. 28 flavors of ice cream plus candy add-ins. Also has Great American Cookie. Offers ice cream cakes and pints of ice cream in their freezer. Do wish flavors changed more often. Staff was okay. 3 employees behind the counter but only one would take and make orders while the others sampled the ice cream themselves.

What is Marble Slab Creamery? It is a place where your imagination has no limits... That is what's advertised.... BUT THAT'S A LIE... you are SUPPOSE TO BE ABLE TO PICK AND CHOOSE WHAT YOU PUT IN YOUR ICE CREAM ... BUT not IN LEESVILLE LOUISIANA, the Marble Slab Creamery, you can't have WHAT YOY WANT.. even if it is available, my favorite cherry... ... I was told the owner would not let them .. put cherries in the ice cream blend.. "You can have 1 on top.." I ask why... they have all kinds of candy ... I didn't see any fresh fruit... Why... you have cherries? The reason is people want too many. I pay over $6 for a single cone.... but they can't afford to add a few cherry .. REDICULAS ... Well, I will be sure to share this about the Leesville Marble slab.. If you like cherries,
