Marengo Tavern

I love this place!!!! The people are great, service is great, prices are reasonable. I will revisit again and again and again, you get the point.

I had the lovely pleasure of stopping by the Marengo Tavern for a midday lunch and was thrilled with my experience. The service was top notch and the prices were even better. I recommend the hot balls and their classic cheeseburger. I didn't even have to step outside for my smoke break because they allow smoking inside the bar. The only con was the person that played Dave Matthews 5 songs in a row on touch tunes but that's not the bar's fault. Will definitely be returning soon.

Stopped by a couple times for a carryout order. Once for two burgers, fries & fried cauliflower bites. They were all delicious. The second order was for 14 meals for a luncheon, and everything was spot on. 👌

Great small town environment to enjoy that has it all. Definitely would recommend to everyone to give it a shot and see for your selves just how great the owner and employees take good care of you while you are visiting.

Absolutely loved finding this place on our drive from Nashville to Chicago. The bar staff and kitchen staff were extremely helpful and kind. Great value food and drinks and had a lovely time chatting with a few of the locals.
