Margarita Island Mexican Kitchen & Bar

Oh my if I could give this place a 20 star I would!! We thought we would go in for lunch and have a little margarita. Wow our margarita was ridiculous! Lol I had the chicken and rice lunch bowl. It was amazing!!! The drizzle cilantro sauce was so good and the portion was huge, I barely ate half of it so I'll have left over for supper. Love their choice of music, loud enough to hear and still able to have conversation. Very clean and plenty of tables. Highly recommend this place!!

Hands down best Mexican food I’ve ever had! Whole family agrees! Food is consistently delicious, flavorful and fresh. Service is outstanding as well! We live in NJ and every time we are down here Margarita Island is a must. We’ve been here twice during this trip down. It’s enough food for me to take half of my burrito home and enjoy the next day! My daughter usually gets 2-3 meals out of the steak bowl that she orders. Love the decor, too. It really is as their wall says, “A Bite of Paradise”!

Very first time here at Margarita Island. We were taken care of. Gabriel. He is exceptional. His kind demeanor, his professionalism, his knowledge of the menu and his attentiveness was above and beyond. Besides all that I had the surf and turf burrito which was absolutely outstanding. Mom had the chicken and spinach enchiladas. The meat in both dishes was so fresh. We absolutely love the salsa and the whole atmosphere and Gabriel again. Just made this whole experience our first time worthwhile. We will definitely be back. This is our go-to favorite place for Mexican food

Had a lovely late lunch. Would definitely return. My only negative believe it or not was to much meat on the taco salad. It was 75 percent beef. I prefer a nice big bed of lettuce topped with onions, tomato, cheddar cheese, meat and sour cream. I know most people will think I'm crazy but that is just personal preference. My wife has ordered the yard of margarita with a few friends and loved it. My daughter loved the elote.

I had Mahi tacos & Mexican corn. They were both fulfilling & flavorful. (Have them cut the corn off the cob) the corn is not the same style as I’ve eaten in Chicago my home town, it was different , but still unique & good. I didn’t care for the beans nor rice. Beans were watery & rice dryer than would have liked. But I don’t base a meal off that. Our waiter, Z….something, he was very pleasant, attentive & swift. Priced ok I Would recommend & I would go back
