Maria's Cafe & Grille

A variety of food that was all pretty tasty. We had a mix of burgers, sandwiches, and seafood. The group consensus was that all of the food was fresh, warm, and good. Our favorite item on the menu was the birch beer they had to drink - 10/10! The service was good - not overly attentive, and the food delivery was quick as well. A great little place to grab lunch with a couple of people or a small group of friends/family.

We went to two other places first, and were disappointed, but it turned out to be a good thing, because we discovered this WONDERFUL GEM OF A RESTAURANT, MARIA'S, on the corner of Central and 9th in Ocean City, New Jersey. We sat outside and enjoyed the lovely sunny day and breezes. When our food came, delivered by our sweet waitress, we were so amazed! The coffee was delicious! We all loved our breakfasts!! I personally had a cheese omelet with avocado (fresh!), (I gave my potatoes to my drooling husband, even though he had his own great food), plus a bowl of delicious oatmeal with fresh perfect blueberries, cream and the best honey I've had in a long time! ( Wish I'd asked where they got it!). You will not be disappointed if you eat here. The bathroom is tiny, but I'm a little handicapp

Had the French dip it was awful! Bland , no taste. Looks like maybe a piece of frozen steak’em meat on a roll. Dip didn’t taste like au jus Really bad. Told waitor it was terrible, did not offer a replacement or a discount. If I were you, I’d eat somewhere else.

I’m from out of town coming in for a funeral. I told the waiter we’re short on time before we even started ordering and our order came in a timely manner, warm, pleasant to the eye, and tastes really good. Lila was our server. She was bubbly, kind, efficient, and accommodating. I would rate this cafe and experience a 10 out of 10.

Hungry, and looking for a place to eat, our group parked and walked the street. An hour+ wait time at many other places around, a small table outside Maria's opened up. The wait staff was amazing, ensuring the coffee was fresh and ready. Most of the group chose an egg variation; eggs benedict or omelette. The stuffed french toast with cream, was delicious! Not too sweet, and syrup not needed. Highly recommend a stop in if there's a seat:)
