Maria's Mexican Restaurant

The menu is full of amazing, authentic dishes but lacking in kids portions. Even still, they were able to put together a small chicken burrito accompanied by French fries for my daughter, so I appreciate that. The large burrito my husband had was full of meat and rice and toppings. My nachos were covered in toppings, although I would have preferred more meat and less beans. Both my husband and daughter said that the food was rather bland until they added hot sauce and other toppings like salsa and sour cream. I would like to come back and try some more items off the menu, especially because this place came highly recommended by quite a few people. I ordered online delivery from Maria’s. The delivery was through Door Dash so it took a while, but no fault of Maria’s- it was with the wait!!! When I called the restaurant to make sure Door Dash picked up my order, the owner told me she would make my food fresh right before the delivery person arrived. My food arrived piping hot!! This is my second time eating from Maria’s and it definitely won’t be my last!

The food, FIRE! The guac, insane! The portions, HUGE! Soup was delish, shrimp burrito was delish, chimichanga was delish! We took a bottle, they gave us marg mix (it was just ok) .... BUT ... we happened to visit on a night when they were preparing to host a private birthday party for family, still they welcomed us. We happened to be there on the night that Bad Bunny made SuperBowl history, they invited us to celebrate with them. And we did! We ate, we danced, we laughed, they made us feel like family. This place is warm, the owners are gracious and we have offically claimed Maria's as our girls' night out spot. Might even host MY birthday party there next year. Mmmmm 🌮

Pricing is extremely high compared to other places. $50 for 6 tacos and 2 drinks is outrageous n ridiculous. Customer service Poor! Defensive ! For no reason. I use to love this place and thought it was so underrated. Food was good , pricing was decent and even though the appearance was nothing like now , it was GOod. But I guess that is what happens when the owner is not there, steps away and leaves inadequate people attending her business. SMH. Now , food not great. Long wait, tacos seem to be fried in oil, everything over priced and not to mentioned waitress expects you to tip her plus keep your change. SMH. Ridiculous

Restaurant doesn’t participate in Dining Advantage offers - so if you have one of those online offers / book coupons ; call ahead and confirm. Cute little restaurant… Overall food was good, the lengua was tender - wish portions were a tad bigger but it was decent. Al pastor tacos were good as well had flavor. Daughter had mexican rice with chicken cutlet, who ate the food. The initial nachos and salsa had refried beans on the nachos , if you’re not a fan of refried beans let the server know. Pretty pricey IMO $17 for 3 lengua tacos , $14 for al pastor. They do offer deals and promotions only if you order for pick up from their website only.
