Maria's Méxican Tacos

We were on the way to Tahoe from San Francisco for my soon to be sister-in-law‘s bachelorette. We stopped here for a quick bite for lunch. Such a cute little place that was perfect for a stop. We all got our food super quickly, even though there was only two people working in the service was amazing. The staff were really friendly, even though they were serving a lot of people, I really commend their hard work and effort. The food was great and we will definitely be back when we go to Tahoe again.!

My friend recommended we have lunch here since we both LOVE Mexican food — and we’re so glad we did! We had the pleasure of meeting the owner, Maria. She is such a beautiful person, inside and out — so helpful and caring toward her customers. Our meal was absolutely delicious and clearly made with LOVE. Everything tasted fresh, and the portion sizes were generous and satisfying. The staff was super friendly and courteous, and the overall vibe of the place was fantastic. We especially enjoyed the outdoor patio — plenty of shade and misters kept it cool and comfortable for dining. I highly recommend stopping by if you haven’t tried this spot yet. Food is pretty good here. The restaurants a little small, so this wouldn't be a place for like big family dinners or anything, but for a couple going out for a little Mexican style bite to eat ... This place is pretty good. She also has a taco truck which I think makes a lot of people happy.

Maria's Mexican is my favorite Mexican food in Auburn. The food is absolutely delicious, and it is not only quick, but consistently good. I would suggest the taco salad, quesadilla and the super burritos since I frequently order these. I also suggest eating outside. The outdoor seating is comfortable and surrounded with different flowers and small trees in containers.

Love Maria's. The food is so fresh and delicious. The service is quick and easy. Very friendly faces to greet and help you. Lovely indoor and outdoor seating.
