I got a letter from the State of New Jersey telling me I never paid a $4000 dollar Corporate Business Tax back in 2013 and in not doing so I would not be able to get my car dealers license renewed. Long story short, the State was/is sending these same letters to many businesses, anyways, the reason for this review, Mike at Marino Marino CPA actually had scanned all my bank statements going back 2 years prior to me making them my full time accountant in 2014. I didn't even think this would ever be important until are illustrious state sent me that letter, panicking knowing I already paid it I called Mike and low and behold Mike found the cancelled check, sent it to the State, and I did not have to repay this CBT tax again.
