This little hidden restaurant has one the best cuban cuisine I’ve had! From the service to the food everything was amazing. Mario, the owner, was a sweetheart and provided great service. Everything we ordered was delicious from the shredded beef and chicken fillet to the tres leches dessert! We came during the lunch hour and the prices were great. Highly recommend this restaurant!!

We had an amazing experience at this restaurant! The food is absolutely delicious — every dish is full of flavor and beautifully prepared. The staff is so friendly and provides great service, making every visit enjoyable. A special shoutout to the owner, Mario — he truly goes above and beyond to make guests feel welcome. You can tell he genuinely cares about his customers and the quality of the food. We love visiting this place whenever we’re in town — it’s always a highlight of our trip. Highly recommend to anyone looking for great food, friendly service, and a warm, inviting atmosphere!

What makes Mario’s Restaurant so special isn’t just the food but Mario himself! My girlfriend and I have been craving cuban food during our trip here. We found Mario’s Catalina and Mario greeted us with the warmest smile. He was closed but still allowed us in because we were leaving the next day. He served us the most amazing three course meal - Empanadas, fish and tres leche with what felt like bottomless sangria! Mario captures the essence of latino love , so happy to have experience his family style cooking and cuban love!

Went for lunch while exploring the area. We were pleasantly surprised with this Cuban restaurant. Decor was very chic they were playing frank Sinatra music would had preferred some Cuban tunes. As we sat we were seved water and plantanito chips with a delicious garlic sauce. For appetizers we ordered ham croquetas and for a entree we got pernil shredded pork our entree came with rice, black beans and sweet plantain. Food was seasoned delightful. I will definitely return with my family when I crave Cuban food. They have outdoor seating and Uber eats.

Mario’s Catalina Restaurant is highly recommended and was an excellent Cuban cuisine experience! This was fine Cuba dining with the Owners personal touch! Very impressed with the amazing service alone and then the food was absolutely beautiful! Thank you Mario and team for an exceptional dinner!
