Mario's Classic Pizza

Great neighborhood spot for an easy dinner - we love supporting family owned businesses because the experience is truly elevated. The guys behind the counter helped us order and are extremely chill. People are known on a first name basis here and it’s very easy going. The food was delicious, we tried the chicken parm, the pizza and it was all good. Hit the spot good not anything fancy. We ate outside and the guys let us pay at the counter whenever we finished - there was no rush and we had a great dinner!

Visiting from out of town, thought the couple of slices were really good! Very flavorful! Staff friendly and welcoming! Outside dining available too! Would return when we are in the area again!

Mario and his family members operate what a pizza place should be:warm Italian hospitality, excellent pizza, and exceptional service. I love coming in here and listening to Andrea Boccelli in my headphones, interacting with Mario and his boys, and enjoying some of the best pizza in Hoboken. This experience is not common in this town. On Thanksgiving, Mario even cooked Turkeys for free for the community. Great shop that does it right.

One of the few OGs left. Amazing food and service. But most of all they actually care about the community and people. Not just to sell more pizza or market themselves like 90% of new Hoboken business putting up a facade. These are real people that don’t need fanfare to do good. There’s a reason they been open this long, the food speaks for itself, incredible pizza but most of all you will feel at home.
