Customer Reviews
Came here with my family as a group of 12. We received excellent prompt service on a Sunday at noon for lunch. I ordered the camarones a la diabla and they were delicious.
Best langostinos I've had in town a must go to spot you start off with a complimentary tostada de ceviche and the pepino piña Agua fresco is to die for great service as well very recommended
We drove all the way from Waukegan to Chicago to try Mariscos El Kora and it was 100% worth it. The food was honestly 10/10. We ordered the mariscos platter with different variations of shrimp and fish and it fed my whole family of 6 with no problem. Everything was fresh and flavorful. The ceviche appetizer was so good too. Just be careful with the red and yellow chile because wow that was SPICY (and I have a high tolerance 😂). The green salsa was more of a medium spice for me. We came for my dad’s birthday and they sang Happy Birthday and brought out a cupcake, which was such a nice touch. Toward the end, one of the cooks or waiters even gave my baby son a little chicken toy. That was such a sweet gesture. The staff was very accommodating and friendly the whole time. Definitely recomme
I can see why this place is hyped up. The food and space was very clean and the food was extremely fresh. I didn’t really like the aguachiles they were good, but it’s not something that I would crave necessarily their Langostinos were definitely top-tier, fresh and piping hot when they came out. I would definitely go back just for those. It’s a BYOB location for those that need to have alcohol. I had their pineapple water. It was good, but I think I would prefer to just be pineapple without the cucumber. I probably would have enjoyed it much more if it was just pineapple.
great service and food. staff was friendly and accommodating. they also gave us a sample on a potential new menu item. the langostinos were a little dry, but the star of the menu are are camarones cucarachas. the shrimp was cooked just right and the flavor was amazing. when i went, there was also a cute grandma selling empanadas. they were delicious! definitely worth a try
