Some of the meat was a little dry, but it doesn't affect the rating. Still a five-star meal (on the taqueria scale) Their wet burrito has a little citrusy note to it. Unexpected, but I'm really into it The Tijuana Taco was legit. (Where the dryness came from) Overall, I definitely got my money's worth.
Really good Mexican food place. We go to church right next to this place and we come here every week. Before you eat, you get free chips and salsa, there is a stand where you can put toppings on your food. The employees are really nice and quick, the food is too good, and you wouldn't really come here for fast food, but the fries are soo good. I would recommend just normal soft tacos or a shrimp guacamole burrito, and the portions are really big, but the prices are kind of expensive $7 for a bottle of coke but otherwise, a good Mexican food place.
I was hungry as soon as I landed in PDX. After getting my car rental, I searched for nearby restaurants and this one was one of them. This is my first time ever in Portland or in Oregon. I judge Mexican food wherever I go. This place did not disappoint me at all. This place is authentic Mexican food. I didn’t catch her name, but my server was very friendly and courteous. I got the chilaquiles and they were some of the best I’ve ever had. When I walked in they had a handwritten sign that said they had champurrado. It was DELICIOUS. They had a variety of bottled hot sauces on the table, plus a salsa bar if you wanted more kick added to your food. Definitely stop by if you’re craving delicious, authentic Mexican food.
5/5 stars “Taco dreams are real — and they live here!” If you’re looking for authentic Mexican food that actually delivers, this is your spot. The tacos were absolute perfection — juicy, packed with flavor, and served on fresh, handmade tortillas that made me want to write them a love letter. Every bite had that perfect balance of spice, savoriness, and “oh my gosh, I need another.” And let’s talk about the salsa bar — a true choose-your-own-adventure moment! From smoky to fiery to sweet and tangy, every salsa had its own personality (and yes, I shamelessly tried them all). Bonus points for the fresh cilantro, onions, and lime wedges stocked like treasure. Pro tip: Come hungry, bring friends, and don’t wear anything tight. You’re gonna want seconds… maybe thirds.
Fast, friendly, and fantastic food. Everything I was hoping for in a local shop. Their specials are actually deals off of normal pricing, and are an excellent selection from their menu. I work nearby, so have been trying my way through their specials. The surf & turf tacos are a *MUST*! I forget what they actually are on the menu, but meat and seafood are the ones. Best I've ever had. The chile relleno burrito is also amongst the best I've laid hands on. In picture.
