Mariscos La Isla Dorada

I have come here two-three times the shrimp with shell on are amazing. Sauce is perfect and the service is amazing. Waitress would come back and clear plates threw out the meal and ask if we needed anymore drinks. The shrimp are tender and not overcooked. Highly recommend the mussels for appetizer as well. The restaurant is clean and the atmosphere is open and decorative. If your looking for good seafood and craving Mexican this is the place 👍👍

Went here with a party of 8 and at that time it was semi busy. Mind you they did have a sign on the window asking for cook(s)/waiting staff. Apparently only one person took the orders but two others where there too. From what i was able to see they had 2 cooks. They have a bar so they do serve alcohol, I had a tequila sunrise which was good my my partner had too ask for an additional shot in her margarita. I ordered shrimp and cheese empanadas which I thought were delicious and filete empanizado. When it came to paying the waitress kept messing up the orders but finally got MY order right the 2nd time, my coworkers weren't as lucky. Overall I think its a pretty decent place that needs more staff but I would/will go back.

Decided to try this place based on the reviews well I was very disappointed. I ordered a burrito for $11 when I got home and unwrapped it I was like wow so small. The worst part was it was filled with nothing but lettuce just a few pieces of meat as you see in the picture. So unless you want to pay $11 for a vegetarian burrito go ahead not me there are better places around.

Michelada Damazo and the food were great. The only down was the service, took them forever to take our drink orders. Would definitely return.
