Mariscos y mas La Jaibita Mexican Seafood

Best tortilla chips I have ever had. Light, crispy and warm. The ceviche con pulpo y camarones was delicious, the salmon dinner excellent and the taco con camarones was different than I have had before and I loved it. The menu is huge—I will be back to try more dishes. They have menudo every day too. One negative thing for me was the oysters on the half shell. They were washed thoroughly and completely separated from the shell. There was no taste and the consistency was watery, not worth eating unless you don’t like the natural briny taste of oysters in their own juices. One oyster tasted bad even. This is a great place for a casual family dinner or a margarita date night. Warm Hospitality and salsa served right to your table! I’m pretty sure I tasted Chile Cascabel in the salsa, delicious. I got cheese enchiladas, gin neat and a coke. Food tastes great! I’m critical of a cheese enchilada plate. And enchiladas were savory, the beans had good flavor and the rice perfect consistency. Definitely will be going back.

I would have given 10 stars, food was fresh and great portion. Awesome and delicious, wish we found this place sooner in San Antonio. We will be back in our next trip here

My husband comes here for his work lunches. He’s told me a couple times, “you have to meet me one day” Well today I did, and I’m glad I came hungry! Everything about this restaurant is perfect! Our waitress is not only beautiful, but her smile was contagious and can definitely change the attitude of a crowd in a good way! I’ll be back again!

We had the ceviche and aguachile sampler and it was amazing. So flavorful!! Ceviche negro and aguachile negro is on point!! Ceviche y aguachile verde is less spicy but still soooo good! Thank you to our waitress Natalia for the recommendation. If you want to feel like you’re in Mexico, you have to visit this place ☺️
