Marlowe's Ribs & Restaurant

We visited Marlowe’s Ribs & Restaurant on our only evening in Memphis on December 29. We were determined to enjoy authentic barbecue – and that’s exactly what we got. On our server’s recommendation, we chose a selection of three different barbecue meats with three different side dishes. Initially, we had planned to order four, but the friendly and attentive waitress kindly warned us about the generous portion sizes and suggested that three would be more than enough. She was absolutely right. The three-item selection was perfect – we finished everything and still had room (and appetite) for dessert afterwards. I had dinner at Marlowe's before my trip to Portugal, and it was one of the most enjoyable meals I have ever had in Memphis. The restaurant is close to the airport which makes it very convenient, and they even offer a complimentary pink limo pickup. I called, and 15 minutes later a bright pink limousine pulled up. It was my first limo ride and such a fun surprise. My server V was a true delight. Warm, energetic, and the kind of person you feel you could be friends with instantly. She recommended the margarita, and she was right. It was chilled, citrusy, and fantastic. The food was outstanding. The deep fried rolls came out warm and golden with a soft center. We had an excellent experience at Marlowe's Ribs! They picked us up from Graceland RV Park in a Pink Cadillac Limo. We had a party of 6 and were sat right away about 6pm on a Sunday. We shared a 4 entree BBQ combo platter with 4 sides and our nephew had a BBQ Beef Sandwich. We had more than enough food. The ribs were the highlight of our meal but everything was delicious. The meat just fell off the bone, super tender and just wow! The BBQ sauce was super tasty. We highly recommend for Great food even if you aren't an Elvis fan! The memorabilia, music and atmosphere was great too. The staff were wonderful as well!

Wow!!! Where do I begin. This place was recommended by the hotel. From the moment we walked through the door we were treated like family. Our server Ron is awesome, couldn’t do enough to make us happy. Our food was brought out by Michael the pit boss. I don’t have the words to describe how good the food is. If you visit Graceland and don’t eat here you have missed out. Come here to try the best bbq I have ever had . We traveled a long way for this 🇬🇧🇺🇸( Boston)

The ribs and brisket were extremely tender. This isn't competition bbq, but very good nonetheless. The regular sauce is tangy and sweet with minimal spices. The sauce was poured on just prior to serving, I recommend asking for it on the side. I didn't get the spicy sauce because I didn't know it was available, but he waitress brought me 2 hot sauces (Tabasco and Louisiana). The side portions are tremendous, nearly double what you get a most bbq restaurants. The waitress was very pleasant and attentive. If you prefer your bbq on the mild side, this is the place for you!
