Marra’s Uptown Sandwich & Salad House

We stopped here on a whim during our drive home to upstate ny. It's (5 min) close to the big main roads, yet it sits in a quiet little place. The food was !!*phenomenal*!! The people were so nice! And patient too, we had our kids with us and both wanted to read the menu independently, and they were both excited about what they got to order! The portions were awesome, no one left hungry and we took the rest with us for the ride. (If Marra's wasn't 4+ hours from home we would, no question, be regulars.) I highly recommend it. We will absolutely stop again if we get a chance!

Stopped while i was in the area and i am so glad I did. Atmosphere is bright and welcoming and the service was amazing. Order at the counter and food is brought out to you. Staff followed up on needs and quality of food. Very personable. I had a double smash burger with fries. Perfectly cooked all around and bursting with flavor. One of the best burgers i have had. The brioche bun was toasts just right. Fries are thick cut and well seasoned. This place is over an hour from my house and i have to admit, i will drive an hour to just come here for lunch.

Looked for a lunch place in this area and found Marra's online. Menu looked interesting, so we tried it. It was cute, cozier than expected, and an excellent neighborhood sandwich and salad shop. Sandwiches were delicious! Service was great. Prices reasonable. Thick homemade fries. They had soup to go. Marra's was doing a brisk takeout business while we there, and most of the eat in seating was taken too. One customer ordered the #5 (eggplant sandwich) in a tone that implied "What else could it be?". I got a chance to sample a bit from one of the other members of my party who had ordered the same, and it was excellent! Outstanding food and service! The team kept checking in on my child and me, asking if we needed anything. Food was excellent and fresh. The other customers were so friendly, chatting up my baby and me. What a lovely place. So happy we stumbled in before our visit to The Sensory Forest.

First time trying this spot out. My sandwich was very good. Bread was fresh and toasted perfectly. Eggplant was delicious. Ordered the 3 cheese balls and they are amazing. The marinara sauce is very tasty. All around good good.
