Mars Hill American Grill

The food was made fresh and tasted delicious. Great prices too! The cheeseburger meal included onion rings and a drink. The chili cheese fries were crispy. Shake options are vanilla, strawberry, and chocolate.

Burgers and cheese sticks were good for gas station diner. No breakfast or biscuits on Saturdays. Soda from self serve fountain tasted too weird to drink. Limited staffing.

I love their food. They have great hamburgers and wings. It would be a 5☆ but they are rarely able to fulfill the full menu anymore. They are very inconsistent in their availability and its frustrating.

I called at 3pm to see if they were open because the day before they had closed due to staffing issues, the day before that I stopped by to get some ice cream and they were cleaning the machine so I also wanted to also double check that it was working. They said they were cleaning it and it would take 30 minutes to an hour. That was fine because my wife is pregnant and has been craving soft serve ice cream so I was determined to get it for her since I’ve been trying for what is the third day in a row. I called again at 4:30 to see if it was done being cleaned because I didn’t want to drive the 20 minutes there if it wasn’t done yet. Super convenient stop right off the highway. Great hotdogs!!! Don't pass it by simply because it's in a gas station!!!
