Martha Local Bar

This place is a hidden gem. The building has always had great food come out of it in the past. That facts still hold true. Martha Bar embraces the dive bar atmosphere without all the hype. Homemade tortillas are a must here. I've been fortunate enough to try several items on the menu and every time I order I'm left absolutely pleased. Daily specials on the menu as well. Some of my favorites are Martha Fajitas, Wings with BBQ Habanero, Chicken Quesadilla, Pork Chop Special, Chicharons.......oh yeah Chicharons with fresh tortillas. This place is amoung my best places to eat in Tippecanoe County. Martha is usually there so make sure to say hi to her.

Probably the best breaded tenderloin sandwich in Lafayette. Large, fresh, juicy tenderloin, not dry or over cooked. Cold beer and real silverware, not the plastic forks found at other bars. Our bartender was awesome. We’ll be back to try other meals soon and definitely the tenderloin sandwich again.

Any time or Day. Music, the environment and the neighborhood are welcoming. Martha is an amazing Business Owner as well. Deserves her credit.

Seems like this bar is under new ownership within the past week or so. Family run bar with everyone so friendly. Heard someone come in talking about being surprised on how clean it is now. They are reworking the menu and adding fresh and homemade tacos and other Mexican food. Ceviche and chips were wonderful and looking forward to trying their tacos. Oh and domestic bottles were only a couple bucks
