Martolli's Hand Tossed Pizza

This pizza place slaps! It is NY style pizza and it is perfect. Thin, crispy, not too much or too little cheese - just bullseye - hits the spot. The $5 slices we ordered were large and satisfying. The tables are first come, first serve here and you bus your own dishes. We stop in here every time we visit Ashland and it never disappoints.

The bbq brisket combo pizza was great. I also got the veggie pizza but was no where near as good as the combo slice. Crispy and crunchy and thin and tasty.... This is a great place.

Great pizza, edging a Queens NY slice, what does that mean? We'll there are standards people, let's not slide into barbarism just yet. Well being NY Queens raised, I'd say the pizza over all is drier than a Queens slice, doesn't have that grease inundated from the custom meats and baked cheese layer. There is a totality greater than the sum of its parts that makes a Queen's slice melt in ye mouth. Overall a delicious choice with ye standard beers on tap, gluten free and great salad options. I'd say the service stands out, cheers to the workers making the magic happen.

The GOAT pizza slice of Ashland. Get one and enjoy. Ingredients are fresh and the crust is typically a work of art. It comes thin and well-baked, never doughy, and lets the sauce, cheese, and toppings be the star of the show. This has usually been a 5 star spot for me, but I’ve ordered a couple take-out pies that have been underdone. I can’t give them a perfect score for that. I may try to ask for a more well-done pizza next time if it’s going straight into the box.

Great stop for a slice, groovy music atmosphere, and a nice draft, cider or wine. Order and pay at the counter kinda joint. Pizza slice/salad combo is recommended for a tasty and satisfying quick meal. Salads and slices are big and worthy.
