Marylou's Coffee

Good coffee, great staff and pleasant decor. The staff at the Hedges Pond Rd. location was awesome today. I sat there for a long while whilst waiting on my car and they were very pleasant the entire time. Katie, Brooke and Larry were all very nice and took good care of people that came in or went through the drive through. Their teamwork was one that places strive for, having been a supervisor and manager in hospitality for 8+ years it can be rare. Their coffee selection is wide in flavors and has a good flavor. The prices are reasonable and they are quick in making the beverages. They also have a variety of snacks and some other beverages. The decor is reminiscent of an old school diner. I absolutely love going into any Marylou's, but this store is nice and bright, welcoming, and you are greeted within seconds of entering. The employees are smiling and happy to help: I don't usually look for changes to my go-to iced coffee, but when I needed some help deciding, the employee was patient and helpful (not pushy!) I was able to convey what I had in mind, they knew exactly what I was looking for. No time to go inside? There's a drive-thru. The employees are always very nice through the microphone as well. Even if the line is long, they can keep it moving.

Why on earth do they have this Brittany working there? She is horrible. I ordered a coffee meant to be hot and they charged me for iced. The young server had no clue what to do so she asked Brittany who was dismissive and rude. She wouldn't do anything about it and said I "got a coffee". What a low life. It absolutely wouldn't have been an issue for me if she just acknowledged a mistake was made, even a small apology. Nothing. Finally, some other young server refunded the difference which was at least some gesture. But Brittany is definitely in the wrong industry and should be somewhere no one has to interact with her.

I love the signature flavored coffees. So yummy & I love Marylou's Pink & themes. I always gotta get a coffee there when I'm out in MASS.
