First time there. Price was great with clear cost of everything. Quick to be sat down and easy to order. Had hot green tea and my partner had a soda product. Favorite bite was the black pepper sushi. Least favorite was a salmon roll... a few of the rolls weren't wrapped tight, so they came apart when trying to pick them up. The service were great... would try again.
My wife and I are originally from Japan and have lived in the Princeton area for nearly twenty years. Masa Sushi has become one of our regular go-to restaurants. Not only is the quality of the food excellent, but we also enjoy the wide variety of offerings, including many types of sushi as well as other dishes. We especially like the crab salad, squid, and spicy salmon. We also love finishing our meal with ramen. The service is consistently pleasant, with attentive and friendly staff. Thank you, Masa sushi.
I think the sushi is pretty good. I like their mango roll the best, and they have lots of varieties no matter what you like including non sushi items. They have sushi, sashimi, udon, teriyaki, soups, other appetizers, and dessert. However, I think it’s slightly expensive for the sushi you’re getting. For each person is at least $33 before tips, and the quality of food is about average.
I tried Masa Sushi in Princeton, NJ, and while there were some positives, I left feeling a little underwhelmed. The service was great, honestly the best part of the experience. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made sure everything ran smoothly. The all you can eat price is a little higher than other spots, but that is probably expected given it is in the Princeton area. The restaurant itself is nicely decorated, but it is also very dark inside, so much so that it was hard to read the menu and even see the food clearly, and this was during the day when it was bright and sunny outside. As for the food, the sushi rolls sound amazing on the menu but don’t taste as amazing as they look or sound. There is just something missing from each roll that leaves you wanting more flavor and bala
I had a great experience at Masa Sushi. The food was excellent and the sushi was absolutely delicious. The waiters were very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal. There was a bit of a wait to get seated, but since it was a Friday night, it just shows how popular and good the food really is. I also noticed they added new items to their menu, which was a nice surprise.
