Overall it was a solid experience, we went for early lunch/brunch and were happy to know both menus were available. We started off with the biscuits and roasted Brussels sprouts sprouts, both were great. For mains we ordered the slider trio (its technically an appetizer) and the Fire & Smoke pizza. The pizza didn’t look that appetizing but the flavor was packed! It was punchy and had some heat.

He took great care of us, made sure everything came out quickly, and helped us choose a pepperoni and hot honey pizza, one of his personal favorites, which absolutely hit the mark and quickly became one of ours too. Matchbox Pizza in Pentagon City is a solid go-to spot. It’s not trying to be over the top, but it’s consistently above average. The pizza is good, the drinks are good, and the atmosphere makes it an easy place to relax for a bit.
