Customer Reviews
This restaurant was just average for me in terms of food, but to be fair, when you're traveling in the mountains to enjoy the scenery, finding a spot like this is already a plus. The food itself was okay—nothing particularly memorable. The fries seemed a bit old and hard, and the beef balls were on the dry side. However, the setting really makes up for it. The view from the restaurant is beautiful, and the atmosphere is lively, especially with the live music playing across the way. It’s clearly a popular spot, as it was quite crowded when we visited. Overall, while the food may not have stood out, the location and ambiance made it a decent stop during our trip.
Decent food, pretty much as expected. They had a kids meal and tap beers so no complaints. Friendly service and no wait. Can’t beat the location proximity.
I did dine in. The waitress sat me quickly and brought me water and sort of forgot about me as she was busy setting up the bar. She more than made up for it when she remembered me though brougt me a taste of two different beers so I could decide which one I wanted. I had classic poutine and it was fabulous hot and delicious and oh so good...
At the end of the day it’s a cafe in the front lobby of ski resort. You aren’t planning your best meal of vacation here but def most convenient. Pizza, Buffalo tenders were good. Burger (hot and sweet) was ok. Fries were bad. Paying $8 of the smallest piece of grilled chicken for top of salad (crazy small amount of lettuce too) was insane. But I could walk from room here and back in less than ten mins so can’t complain!
The fish and chips were outstanding! It was so flaky and crispy. The fish was cooked perfectly. There were so many fries that I couldn't finish them, but I ate all of that fish. The coleslaw was not good. It was very flavorless. My boyfriend had the lobster roll and loved it. It was just so good. It was pretty neat to watch the ski slopes because I've never been skiing. It looks fun. The staff was quick to take orders and bring out the hot food, and they always smiled. It was a great spot.to have lunch before we went snowmobiling for 3 hours. I'd love to come back.
