Mausam Indian Flavors

Probably the best Indian food I’ve had in the US! I’m from Austin and really wish we had North Indian food this good back home. We tried the Malai Kofta, Palak Paneer, Aloo Gobi, Paneer Tikka, Corn Tikki, and a few cocktails. Every single dish was absolutely amazing. The flavors were authentic and perfectly balanced. The chef is Michelin-star awarded, and it truly shows in the quality and presentation of the food. Our server, Vinit, was fantastic, super attentive, friendly, and made the whole experience even better. We’ll definitely be back soon!

We recently visited the Indian restaurant Mausam, and it was an amazing experience from start to finish. As soon as we entered, we were warmly greeted and promptly shown to our table. Our server, Vinit, took our drink order and was extremely attentive throughout the meal. He patiently answered all our questions and made excellent recommendations. For appetizers, we ordered paneer tikka, prawns Peshawari, and angari chicken - all were delicious, but the angari chicken was 🔥. We also tried the pani puri, which was incredibly refreshing and full of flavor. For the main course, we had bullet naan, which had green chilies and a nice spicy kick. We went out grocery shopping and could smell food from far away so we went for lunch. The service was quick and the staff was super nice. We tried their paneer tikka for appetizers and that was a great start to the meal. For the main course, we ordered pineapple raita, malai kofta, dal tadka, missi roti, and butter naan. We even ordered masala papad. Everything was on point and loved out at Mausam.

I was pleasantly surprised with this restaurant! I went in expecting an average Indian restaurant, but this was top notch! Vineet made sure we got our pani puri, and overall served us really well. We don't go into an Indian restaurant expecting service this good! Well done! The taste of the food was also great! Naan was not too thick and biriyani had great flavor! We'll be back when visiting again!

Absolutely world class dining! I spent a night in Manitou Springs, and ended up getting both lunches there. I got several items, but my favorites were the following. The tamarind margarita was delicious and playful, part of their innovative fusion cocktails. The meat platter was out of this world, with a range of succulent and perfectly grilled meats, including shrimp, kebab, tandoori chicken and mustard fish. Their chaat items were great as well. Their breads were on point too. I'm returning here anytime I'm around Colorado springs.
