Max's Gourmet Bagels

I have to say this is my first trip to this bagel shop. You will not find a shop like this anywhere old-time Florida charm. A Bagels are extra extraordinary not like a bagel chain. If you have a chance to visit this place go the bagels are so good and I live in Hope Soundtown. This was my first time there.

THE BEST BAGELS. I have been trying to find a better bagel than Max’s’ for at least 5 years. I’ve failed. They have the best around. Full stop. Ignore the swarm of bitter boomers complaining about drive thru issues, and prices raising to more than $.05c a bagel and you will find a charming delicious spot with phenomenal character. 10/10.

I stopped in Max’s Gourmet Bagels for the first time today. I’m torn on how best to provide a review because of the Jekyll and Hyde nature of the place. THE BAGELS: Finally decided to go with a five star because MOST people will go there for the bagels AND the bagels are great! Crispy outsides chewy insides just as a bagel should be. If you’re looking for a bagel, you can’t go wrong here. AMBIANCE: Now, on to the other side. If you’re looking for a place to eat breakfast with some atmosphere, you won’t find it here. “Perfunctory” is the word that comes to mind. Plastic ware, baskets and napkins, functional tables and chairs self-serve coffee… that’s what you’ll get here. Best bagels in Martin county. Authentic NYC bagels. My go to place for great coffee and fresh breakfast sandwiches. Reasonably priced and you can't beat the drive thru. Great staff who are always very friendly. I would highly recommend.
