Maxwell's Drive-thru & Pizzeria

Sat in dining area for 20 minutes and not the first employee acknowledged that we were there. Too concerned with serving beer at 11:00 am than folks who wanted to have lunch. The conversations between staff and regulars made it seem like you have to be known to even get good service.

We hired Maxwell's to cater our wedding last month and could not have been more impressed! As part of our package, we got a tasting included to pick which pizzas/appetizers we wanted to include for our wedding day. We did have to drive from Columbus to Zanesville for this, but it was WORTH IT! The food was so good and included any and all drinks, and Keilee and the team talked us through everything. Leading up to our wedding day, Keilee (the catering manager) extremely responsive and communicated so well with us. She also included a couple individual pizzas to accommodate some allergies (i.e., no cheese on a pizza for one of our guests and no tomato sauce for another guest) at no extra cost. Maxwell’s pizza is the best pizza I’ve ever had. I don’t write reviews but I thought I should today because I was talking to my brother about pizza and we started talking about Maxwell’s and how we miss it. Since we moved away monthss ago we can’t get it anymore but we miss it everytime we order pizza and nothing tasted as good as Maxwell’s did. ILY maxwell’s. 💔😂

Ordered 3 pizzas and the Buffalo bread. The worst pizza I’ve ever had! The BLT had very little lettuce, no tomato’s , no mayonnaise or ranch drizzle, couldn’t taste anything remotely buffalo on it, the same for the buffalo bread. The Nashville, hot chicken pizza had dried out chicken on it. It was not good. The prices are too high for what you get. The Sauce and the cheese pizza was good. That’s the only positive thing I can say about our experience eating here for the first time.

I got a blt pizza and Hawaiian pizza, and ravioli cheese bites. The ravioli bites were good the the marinara sauce. Blt pizza sucked. Very dry no sauce and lack of lettuce and tomatoes and the Hawaiian pizza sucked as well, plenty of cheese but hardly no pineapple and not enough ham to make it taste as good as other places make it.
