Mayday Icecream Belhaven

A small but terrific ice cream shop located in a quaint little eating area. Lost of covered seating available outside to enjoy your treat. The ice cream is not your typical chocolate, vanilla or strawberry. The flavors are likely created right there. The Praline and Boubon ice cream is terrific! So great with lots of pecan bits, cinnamon and bourbon flavor. Stop in a get a Wingman special when you're in the area!

Stopped by after we got some pizza and glad we did! I got the Aviator and it was AMAZING! Super cute shop and even better ice cream!

Mayday ice cream shop is a very nice establishment. They have a large selection of flavors to choose from and mix with.the service was great also. The atmosphere is perfect being that they are perfectly co mingled with Wing mouth and a bar located in the other nearby bungalows. There is also a great outdoor area to sit and enjoy your ice cream also. Also they have a very interesting story as to how the business got their name which in some cases depending on interest level can be an extra cherry on your sundae. These days when was the last time you heard a good story about how a business got its name.

It’s HOMEMADE ice cream & fresh warm cones are made to order. I had the parent trap and the blueberry orange flavors, both were really good. Even the customer service was great!

Picked up a great ice cream flight here !! Love that concept btw, you can taste so many flavors instead of just 1 or two large scoops ! It’s next door to quite a few restaurants in the area!
