Mayflower Seafood Restaurant

A big place . Waitress was awesome. She was Very busy. Lots of food served. Loved the hushpuppies. Enjoyed the food.

This is one of the Best Mayflowers I have been to. Very friendly young lady who set me down with little to no wait time Maria took my order she was very knowledgeable of the menu items & was Friendly and bright young lady. When the order came the food was hot and she also had extra plates for the food overflow. Just an awesome experience.

Older restaurant, but seemed clean. Fried white fish, oysters and hushpuppies were all delicious and not greasy, which is rare at fried places. Not a lot of lighting, so without the sunlight coming in through the many windows, it would be a very dark atmosphere, which could be romantic for some, and hard to read the menu for others.

Decided to drive up from Lynchburg to try Mayflower. So glad I did. The food and service was EXCELLENT! Prices are VERY REASONABLE, to boot. As a bonus, the ride there was RELAXING and scenic!! Can't wait to go back!!

Food and service no where near as good as previous original owners. Went downhill fast after original owners retired. Oysters are hard as rocks all bread, hardly any oyster. They uses to be plump and juicy. The catfish now taste really weird Just a terrible taste. The original owners use to cook the best catfish ever.
