Mayor Joe V Sánchez Public Library

My first time ever visiting this library. I needed a PC to create a document. I don't own one and it'd been years since I'd used one. I was a little overwhelmed trying to navigate. The young ladies behind the counter were gracious and helped me figure it out. Finished my document and I have nothing but praise for the friendly, courteous service provided here. Thank u so much for your help. I plan visiting more often to discover other services provided here.

So I forgot to print some paper work at work. I went today to print paperwork that I needed to the public library!! I was paying for a service. I asked if they were taking credit cards answer was no. I only had a $20 bill. The lady at the register told with an attitude "next time bring a smaller bill" well hello next I will remind myself to print at work instead of getting this attitude. If they offering a service they to have change for a $20 bill...

A real gem in Weslaco, caring employees, great service in a nice facility. I am very much looking forward to the new Library community spaces in the new building. I hope the city reorganizes the handicap parking. Crutches and wheelchairs parked across the street can be challenging. We love our dedicated Weslaco City employees!

Went to the library to return some books and literally had the door locked in our faces. My daughters and I were 5 steps away from the entrance and the door was locked in front of us. I realized what time it was and I understand it’s the end of the day staff wants to go home but not even an I’m sorry ma’am we are closing. That is the rudest thing that has ever happened to us.

First time in this library, the ladies in the front are nice and helpful. What I liked was that they even have a play section with toys and even a kitchen for small kids. It suit perfect for my daughter while I was using the computer. To print is only .10 cents. I will definitely go back to this library!
