Mazzio’s Pizza & Wings

I hadn’t been to this restaurant in years. I went with a friend and she had buffet. I ordered 9” loaded cheese dippers. It didn’t look quite like photo as it had white cheese versus cheddar but it was tasty. The service was excellent and the atmosphere was very quiet and clean. I highly recommend visiting if in the mood for pizza.

In order from Mazzios a lot, I love their loaded cheese dippers(with no tomatoes) with house made ranch. Somehow when I order they put tomatoes on it, dippers are doughy and never cooked throughly, and I never get my ranch. This has been a repeated pattern. They need to do better..

Most folks over the age of 30 remember the great days of the pizza buffet. Even when most pizza places offered a buffet, one stood head and shoulders above all others: Mazzio's. From a salad bar featuring finely-shredded lettuce, to a buffet that offered both standard and specialty pizza choices, Mazzio's was one of the most consistently good choices you could make. Time, it seems, makes fools of us all. This location seems emblematic of the problem. For some time, quality in service has slipped slowly towards apathy. On weekdays, one is pressed to find more than a few paltry slices of what was once a whole pie half an hour ago. Ordered online, given 20 minute pickup time. Got there in 23 minutes, order not ready. Waited onsite (because order was already paid for with cc) for 54 ADDITIONAL MINUTES. Then order wasn't even accurate. How on earth does this place get 3.9 stars?????

Order online. Told 20 min. Get there on time. An hour later still waiting. And they couldn't fill order and had to substitute something else. Never again.
