Pretty good place to eat! Food was good, place was clean and service was ok.. they didn't have change as I paid with cash.
The staff working on 12/8/25 around 7:00 PM is the best I’ve ever experienced here. I eat at this McAlister’s at least three times a month and usually receive fair service, but tonight they perfected everything. Super fast, friendly, and a clean environment. There are usually people goofing off behind the counter and taking forever to get things done, but it was a solid crew tonight. I’ll definitely be back more often! Way to Go Vee
We went in to order and the employees and/or manager are incompetent. I don't mean this in rude way but genuinely we ordered only two soups. We sat there for 25 minutes and we had to go up and ask about it. It took awhile for them to get to the counter and when they did they said the order has been out and that they called the name. Us three didn't hear it at all nor did we see them near the food counter. My mother in law asked about if we heard her name called which we didn't. When I said that the manager said "your names were called twice" in a condescending tone. The entire time we were there not a single name was called and the food was cold. Lost our service for sure
Food was about on par for any other McAlesters location (good), but the service was painfully slow. Employees had one speed and had no interest is being at work. Bathrooms are pretty crusty too. We regretted not going to the Jersey Mikes across the way
Came in at opening. Every table or both we tried to sit at was filthy. Apparently not wiped down from the night before. We ordered 2 French dips. Instead of the Swiss it came with, we wanted provolone. They charged is $3 to substitute. The roast beef was so fatty, we only ate half the sandwich and pulled most of the meat off. 2 sandwiches, 2 drinks (which we got after the food arrived) and the chips the sandwiches came with, $52 Absolutely ridiculous 🙄
