McAlister's Deli

Thought this might be a good place and th menu looked good but that’s when I stopped. It was 230 on a Friday so not peak time but it took 25min including having to remind the staff that the food was just sitting there to get the food and it was disappointing. We got the kids pretzel dog bites and one was still frozen! Gross. My wife said the baked potato was okay and the nachos were essentially what you’d get at a carnival. The carrot cake wasn’t bad but I wouldn’t come for that. Overall very poor - stay away!

The New Yorker sandwich is the best sandwich I have ever had! I order this sandwich multiple times a week. Also normally I do not like salads but their Southwestern Salad is one of my favorites. The staff is attentive. Their spuds are better than fries. Highly recommend this place for a perfect lunch. Their lemon berry cookie is good. Would give five stars if it was just these dishes. But I cannot recommend their crab soup or mardi gras cookie.

I absolutely love this location! My food was delicious and the store was clean. But the best part of my experience was Danielle who took amazing care of me. Answered all my questions, provided helpful suggestions, and was successfully doing a dozen things at once to make sure everyone in the dining room was taken care of. Thank you for such a great lunch!

Update 10-07-25 Had a Reuben and was pretty good. Update 05/17/25 Gave it another try since we had a free sandwich with t-mobile Tuesday. They really impressed me today. Went from decent to great in a matter of a couple years. Might be hit or miss. This is Miller rd location haven't been to the Grand Blanc one yet. The most current picture with New Yorker is from today. Not sure if it's first picture or last picture Good food overall, but put me right in the bathroom after. First time here and had two 50% off a sandwich and was still pretty pricey at almost $20 bucks. That's no drinks, desert, or side upgrades. On a regular day I would pay half price tops for the items, but even then the sandwiches were a bit light on meat for the price. Worth a try, but didn't turn out great for us perso

Ordered a list of items we spent roughly $80 overall the food was pretty good really enjoyed the bread meat quality could be a little better overall i wasn't too disappointed I mean it is a fast food deli restaurant I would say it's better than Jimmy John's, Subway, potbelly, big John's for sure I like how you can customize the sandwiches the meat is very thin sliced more like prepackaged deli meat definitely not fresh hey but what's your other options Krogers wait for 30 minutes and deal with their attitudes because they don't feel like slicing your meat. Oliver's is pretty good I will definitely say it's better than McAlister's but hey if you're in a rush go for it
