McAlister's Deli

It was the day after the big 2026 snow, so I was grateful for the employees being there. The food ( 1/2 sandwich & 1/2 ) soup were pretty good. Sandwich portion was a little smaller than what I get in Shelby, hence the 4 stars. No greeting from the cashier, and I guess the atmosphere was ok, wasn't paying much attention since I wasn't dining in, but since the employees, kinda set the atmosphere 3 stars as well. She wasn't rude, just not " friendly."

Pretty good French dip! But if it weren't free for T-MOBILE Tuesdays I wouldn't pay $12.19 cents for a 6" sub and some chips.

I haven't been here in a long time. I decided to get something called The New Yorker. It's very similar to a Reuben, I actually asked them to add sauerkraut to it. I just wanted to review to show a photo of how thick the sandwich was. I don't know of any other restaurants that will give you that much meat on any of your sandwiches. It was also very nice to be receiving service from actual people and not just a stupid kiosk. My friends and I had gone to Steak & Shake around the corner to eat. I was so infuriated by the weird options and lack of customizability on the menu kiosk but I decided not to give them any of my money.

The food here is great and the service is immaculate. We were really impressed and will be coming back.
