Experience McDonald’s in Its Home Country. McDonald’s is everywhere in the world. The core menu is basically the same, but each country adds subtle local touches—so it’s actually fun to compare. In its home country, the U.S. version feels a bit more generous in portion size and overall satisfaction. It’s easy to think of it as “just McDonald’s,” but trying it where it all began is definitely worth experiencing at least once.

I got a double cheeseburger and I somehow ended up with an extra patty. Nonetheless, it was very delicious! The fries were only ok because they needed more salt. I also got a holiday pie and it was so delicious! If it is around Christmas time, order the holiday pie! You will not regret it!

•Glad to have found them open post-snowstorm in DC! •Very busy despite the weekday and off-peak hours. •Staff are kind and quick to serve. •Clean dining area with several tables and chairs. •Got their spicy chicken sandwich, and hot honey snack wrap with fries. Food was good although the fries were a bit soggy already. Hot honey wrap is a must-try!

almost 4 pm, thirsty, hungry, and exhausted…this mcdonald’s was exactly what i needed. not only is it huge with plenty of seating, but it was also cleaner and quieter than other locations i’ve been to. the food was okay, nothing special, but for the price, i wasn’t expecting anything extraordinary. the best part? drink refills, so i could properly quench my thirst. plus, the wifi worked great, definitely a win.

I ate the best Big Mac in a long time. The bun was crispy and the food was perfectly done. A nice surprise. Thank you to the entire staff and congratulations to the kitchen, I know is just fast food but not always you get surprise for the quality of the food.
