Customer Reviews
The host was extremely friendly and welcoming! The food was spectacular! My Chicken Tacos were just as I imagined. My friend's pasta looked and was (her words) "..absolutely the best chicken pasta!" she ever had. The only issue I had was that our server walked by multiple times after we were finished eating without checking to see if we were ready for check. Had to be flagged down (politely!!) for us to finally get his attention and get the check. Otherwise, would come back again!
The Norwegian Salmon ($34.50) looked good and was it was delicious! Cocktails were pricey at $17.50, and a house Chardonnay was $8.50. We split a piece of Peanut Butter pie for $8. YUM! Peggy D. was very helpful. There was a 3% up charge for using a credit card.
The wait staff was excellent, they were attentive but not intrusive. The house cab and cocktail were very good. The onion rings were good as well as the bacon wrapped shrimp appetizer. However, the halibut first came out slightly under cooked. The waitress apologized and immediately took it back and brought it out 5 minutes later and it was white and flaky all the way through.
Peyton was our server, and she did a great job.
The atmosphere here is upscale, but without pretensions. It's got a positive vibe to it and makes you feel welcome. I ordered the Smoked Gouda Chicken Pasta ($26). This is pan seared chicken, bacon, asparagus, portobello mushrooms, and a smoked Gouda cream. I didn't like the mushrooms, however once I moved the mushroom strips aside the meal was splendid. I highly enjoyed it. I didn't at first think the portion size was very big, but I was satisfied afterwards. The person I was with got the same thing and highly enjoyed the meal including the mushrooms. The service was very friendly and helpful. Didn't understand the wine menu, but went to ask in a cheerful manner. Overall a 4 and a half star review. I have no real complaints or issues so I'll round up to a full 5 stars. Would I return?
