McNears Beach Park Pool

The kiddos had a blast. This is a hidden treasure: Free! Beautiful & the pool stayed incredibly warm. We had a blast. Beautiful & diverse group of kids present which is nice as well. They don’t allow outside food but you can sneak a snack here and there & there are plenty of grassy areas available for picnics.

We were there last Sunday for a birthday party. The picnic tables were near the pool, the pool is free even if you aren't there for a party and the pool wasn't crowded. Absolutely delightful way to spend a summer afternoon.

Great park but no bike racks??? There’s everything here- nice bathrooms, showers, changing room, swimming pool, swimming beaches, tennis courts, bbq and picnic areas, but no bike racks to lock your bike up when you get there. There’s bike lanes in the road to get you here even. Please add some bike racks.

Poorly staffed. If you come to this pool expect to wait an hour to get in. The pool isn’t at capacity, they are so understaffed they just won’t let you in. It’s really a shame. It would be a great pool snd experience if they just staffed it properly.
