Meadowlands Kitchen and Bar

Brand new restaurant a few minutes SE of us in horse/cattle (gold) country! Outstanding, and better than expected. Same owners as Roxy in Fair Oaks, so they have experience, and it shows in the service and food. Fresh Amador beer from up the road. We started with warm biscuits, butter and honey. I had house ground/aged burger with sweet/spicy "Millionaire's-style" thick bacon. Got a fantastic garlicky herb dressing for my fries. Ivan had a NY steak and raspberry mojito. Friendly staff. We'll be back. Historic building/location.

I stumbled across this place while house sitting in the area and I'm so glad I did! The food here is amazing, the staff is friendly and professional. Corkage is $15. We started with the cheese biscuits with local honey (delicious) and the onion rings, which were the perfect blend of savory, buttery breading with sweet onion and a tangy aoili dipping sauce. We both had the filet mignon as our main course, but I got the blue cheese sauce as side and my boyfriend got the horseradish. It was one of the best steaks I've ever had - it practically melted in your mouth. We shared the rhubarb ice box cake for dessert, which was also wonderful.

Very good food. Very good atmosphere. They were also patio dog friendly. Only thing is a bit of a limited menu but what they had was very well prepared.

Spectacular everything! The fries, the avocado toast, the cocktails!!! The only bad experience I had was with the cell phone reception, but is that even a problem? I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a nice brunch (as that's all I've tried) but by the service and menu options, I can say, any opportunity to get out there is worth it!

Had to come check it out with the new owners. Food was good. They take reservations and even have my pony's horseshoe over the bar
