Meadows Restaurant

We had a wonderful experience at Meadows Restaurant! We started with the loaded potato skins appetizer and they were absolutely amazing! Perfectly crispy, cheesy, and loaded with flavor. I ordered the French dip with home fries and it was fantastic, the meat was tender, flavorful, and served just right. My daughter had the kids’ chicken fingers and fries, and she loved them. Everything came out hot and fresh! Our waitress was incredibly friendly, super fast, and always made sure our glasses were full. The service truly stood out and made the meal even better. The restaurant itself may be a little dated, but honestly that didn’t matter at all because the food and service were outstanding. We will definitely be back!

We were visiting from Kentucky and always look for different restaurants. This place is a hidden gem. I had the Dagwood sandwich and oh, it was so big and delicious. My husband got the chopped steak and onions. He said it was delicious too. We got the potato skins as an appetizer and they were hot and cheesy. Overall great experience. Our waitress was so nice and our neighbor at the next table got the pork chops and they are huge!! Next time I’m trying those!! Thanks for serving us Kristen and bringing us great food!!

Nice restaurant was there on a Saturday so was not able to try the country fried steak. The hamburger was good. Thier fries are very good. Potato skins were also good.

Nice little stop in Springfield OH, on our way back to IL! Food was great, all the staff were friendly! Could see they posted opening for more hours and needing help. Looks like a great place to work as well! I didn’t get pics of the food but I had the prime rib French dip sub and it was fantastic! My husband had the fried cod and he said it was really good! We’ve saved it as one of our favorite stops on our travels so we can eat there again!

The food was great! Service was spot on! Atmosphere is a tad older, but clean. We enjoyed our experience, except for one thing...the owner's son. He would walk around with clinch fists, and would punch or slam doors. He obviously has some anger issues, because this isn't the first time this kind of behavior has been observed when visiting. While his antics didn't ruin the taste of the food, he did ruin the overall experience.
