Got the lamb shawarma wrap. Lamb was tough and cut like steak. I thought it would be shaved. I asked for spicy, saw a bit of red in it but not spicy at all. Very few tomatoes and onion. I asked for tzaziki sauce, only got tahini. Tahini sauce had absolutely no flavor at all, just tasted like plain yougurt. Very disappointed, did not finish it. Only ate half, threw the rest away.
I liked the turnips they put out. The bathroom was clean and interestingly placed. Great seating. Food was the star! I loved the lamb plate. For 20$ you get two salads, hummus, basmati rice, a pickle, and lamb kabob with onions and spicy paste. There was warm bread on the side too. I loved having the variety. It was a nice surprise to rice and meat from other places. The flavors were very defined. It reminded me of my grandmother's cooking.
It is so close to our place that I never got a chance to try it. And once I try, I found a gem in my neighborhood. The food is delicious and filled with, as the restaurant's name says, aroma. Many Mediterranean places fail because they are not bold enough to put flavor and spice in. However, Aroma delivered! I particularly enjoy their hummus on the sour side. The meat and rice are indeed aromatic. This is the place I can go when I crave this type of food.
Fresh and delicious Mediterranean food at a very reasonable price point. Fast delivery and nice staff. Highly recommend the place. The falafels, the vegetarian platter, and the cauliflower wrap - they were all sooo good!
I cannot believe I have not written a review of this place yet! After searching and trying many different places that are self proclaimed Mediterranean places, we fell in love with this place and have been getting carry out from here on a regular basis for probably over two years now, if not longer! Not only is the food super fresh, tasty, and on the healthier side (although I do indulge and get the fried falafels, which are just amazing!), but the owner/chef is simply super kind and generous, always spoiling us by throwing in a pack of pita bread with our order. We usually get carryout, but sometimes we eat there and it’s spacious, clean, casual and welcoming. A detailed note about the food: We usually get the combo platter, with falafel and baba ghanoush, and red cabbage on the side. The
