Absolutely delicious food! My friend and I were craving Italian and we found this amazing family-owned restaurant. One of the owners was very sweet and recommended to try the penne pesto e gamberetti, could not recommend it more! So flavorful! The restaurant is very cozy as well. If you are in the area do yourself a favor and try this gem.
Lovely experience. The owner’s wife was there and was very attentive and kind. We all had a nice meal and would go back again. Lots of available seating options!
Our experience began with the greeting upon entering Mediterraneo. We were warmly greeted and that greeting was simply genuine. It’s so nice when you feel like you’re being welcomed home! The ambience was just right for our gathering of nine. All of the restaurant staff members were kind, attentive and professional. The owner, Melania, came to our table throughout the evening. She was an absolute delight! She shared some of her favorite delicacies with us which only enhanced our experience. Figuratively speaking, every single person at our table was drooling with delight over the appetizers, their entrées and dessert. The food was outstanding. For me, this experience is one of those experiences that I will cherish. I felt like I was at a family gathering in someone’s home. If you don’t ma
Terrible food. Unreal how low quality the food is. Even a margarita pizza is frozen and simply popped in the oven. So dry and barely any basil. Asked for more basil and crickets- never got them. The pasta was basically a pasta salad. The branzino was dry and burned. I oversaturated it with lemon juice to make it edible. It was def old/frozen- not fresh. The side of sautéed spinach with olive oil garlic and lemon juice had non of that- simply sautéed but no flavor. Also the grilled chicken side for my son was thin, dry, and reheated. Asked for a cup of water for my dog and also never got it. I had to give my kids water cup to my dog on this hot day
If you want to experience how bad Italian food quality can be in NYC, this is the place. Small portions, pricey, frozen pizza and very basic pasta with no flavors. Ordered margarita pizza and clearly it was a frozen dough, why why ?
