Medusa Greek Street Food

Came here in the afternoon on a Saturday and only one other customer was about to order. We got excited thinking this place would have great gyro. When we saw the gyro, they looked so dry that it almost made us turn around and leave. We consistently have delicious gyro or what is called Doner in Paterson. This was definitely not it! They looked completely unappetizing so we ordered the lamb gyro and that was a terrible mistake. They took what looked like precooked sliced meat from the back and threw it on the grill to heat up. It tasted like you'd imagine, reheated and weird. We didn't even finish the food and tossed it. What a disappointment of an experience. We won't be back. It wasn't inexpensive but bad enough to not give it another try.

The staffs were sooo nice, the atmosphere is totally a vibe! Lots of cute Neon signs for pictures! You have to try the fried cheese app and the dip sampler. The fish roe spread was 10/10

We visited Medusa as a part of a private party. The vibe was great - cute decor, bright, clean. The food was outstanding - the chicken was divine, the rice amazing & the spanakopita out of this world. However the best part was the SERVICE!! Makayla (the manager) and her team were SO friendly and SO helpful I cannot give them enough praise. They took care of a large party seamlessly and with top notch service. We wlll absolutely go back and recommend this for private parties of 40 or fewer people.

This is such a great addition to South Orange Love the colorful decor and cool vibe. We ordered Brussel sprouts and spicy feta dip as appetizers and everything was fresh and flavorful. Entrees were generously portioned and we loved our gyros and fries. Our server was super friendly and very attentive. She answered all of our questions about the menu and checked in on us to make sure we were well taken care of. Will definitely return!

I’ve never had a food experience bad enough to compel me to leave a negative review until this. Ordered takeout and when I got there it was an extremely chaotic environment with the cook yelling at the front staff and frantically trying to fill orders. I waited an extra 40 minutes until my order was ready. Gave them the benefit of the doubt cause they said they got slammed with a bunch of takeout orders at the same time. For reference, I ordered a beet and goat cheese salad with gyro chicken. The meat they provided was very questionable looking (and tasting), would not have known it was chicken if no one told me, and was so fatty that I couldn’t even eat it. Then there was no goat cheese in the beet and goat cheese salad..overall very disappointed 😕
